ACT RESPONSIBLE CANNES TRIBUTES 2015

"ACT Responsible Tributes" 2015 – recognizing and celebrating creativity for Good Causes.

In 2003, former mayor of Cannes, Bernard Brochand, created the ACT Responsible Cannes Tributes as a link between his citizens and the Festival. The ACT Responsible Cannes Tributes are a recognition given through the general public votes, to outstanding works for good causes.

On Friday June 26th, 4:30pm, Marie Pourreyron, Adjointe to the Mayor of Cannes, alongside with Bernard Brochand and ACT'ive members, handed out the ACT Responsible Tributes 2015 in the exhibition in the Palais des Festivals.

This exhibition allowed the people to express their opinions by voting for their favorite campaigns in 4 categories: Human Rights, Education, Solidarity, Planet.

Out of the 1,310 campaigns identified since June 2014 in the ACT Responsible database, 500 were shortlisted to be part of the exhibition and 115 campaigns were showcased in the exhibition (13 in the Planet section, 31 in Education, 40 in Solidarity and 31 in Human Rights). The 2015 exhibition gathered 86 agencies from more than 33 countries.

Approximately 4,500 visitors came to the Exhibition, 1,878 voted on site and 33,770 online.

With over 35,500 votes collected this year, 12 Tributes, 3 in each theme were distributed, as well as and one Special Tribute, representing an outstanding participation in the exhibition as well as in the voting process, giving as much exposure as possible to their campaigns.
