ACT Responsible celebrates “Great Ads for Good” at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

ACT’s 18th exhibition will be revealed on Monday 17th June in the Debussy Foyer, on the first floor of the Palais des Festival. It will present 81 of the most creative campaigns in support of good causes, responsible behaviour and sustainable development. The collection gathers the work of 72 agencies from 30 countries.

« Communication is essential to raise awareness and alert us all on good causes. It gives us the keys to take part in defending major issues and  educates us on matters that touch us all. Often complicated and difficult to address these good causes need the creative talent of professionals to make a real impact and achieve real changes. I believe it’s the responsibility of the whole advertising industry to unite and take a stand to make a difference. This is what ACT Responsible is and I’m proud to have contributed in building it. »

The focus of the year

Creativity delivers important messages in a powerful and effective way

This year, mental health, plastic pollution, domestic violence and donation are issues that have clearly caught advertisers’ attention. Human rights and women’s empowerment campaigns has also been widely addressed by the Advertising Community. 

the collection is divided into 4 main themes :

Preventing pollution, waste, protecting biodiversity

Fighting injustice, violence, protecting dignity

Preventing inequality, exclusion, promoting brotherhood

Fighting discrimination, diseases, promoting tolerance

Public’s Favorites Ads.

Vote at the exhibition or online public vote from June 1st to until June 19th until 18:00. Promoting the ads to be seen by a large audience.

This Tribute honours agencies behind the top 3 favourite campaigns in Environment, Human Rights, Solidarity, Education elected by public votes. This recognises the people (Public, NGO, Advertiser, Agency) that played key roles in advancing social and environmental causes through personal contributions or creative campaigns.

“This is not an award. It is not a competition and there is no winner. The goal of this Tribute is simply to acknowledge those champions, highlight clever and creative programmes, share good practice and inspire others.” says Hervé de Clerck, ACT Responsible Dream Leader.

The Tributes Celebration will be celebrated alongside our sponsors, members & ACT Partners.
