CELEBRATING OUTSTANDING WORK FOR GOOD CAUSES
Since 2004 we organise public votings during exhibitions to involve visitors in honoring their favorite campaigns.
The ACT Responsible Cannes Tributes have been created in partnership with the Cannes City Hall with the support of Bernard Brochand, ex-Mayor, today Member of Parliament, President of the District Council of the Pays de Lérins, Honorary President.
A Tribute is not an award, there is no complicated criteria and categories, the jury is the public. The tributes are simple homages from the public to great work created for social and environmental causes by agencies around the world. Its purpose is to be a source of inspiration and motivation to produce even more outstanding campaigns.
“It is very important to show that creative ideas are always the most powerful tools of the advertising industry to convince and influence change in all of us. ’’
Bernard Brochand, Member of Parliament, President of the District Council of the Pays de Lérins, Honorary President of the ACT Responsible Tributes.
Tributes to Creativity for Good
The Tributes to Creativity for Good celebrates 12 campaigns in 4 themes : Environment, Human Rights, Solidarity and Education. The campaigns receive 3 distinctions : Public’s Favorite, 2nd Favorite and 3rd Favorite.
The voting is organised at the exhibition location and since 5 years also online. The idea behind this voting is to promote the campaigns so that they receive the visibility they deserve not only by creative people of the advertising industry but as widely as possible.
By contributing in sharing our favorite campaigns on social media we become ACT’ive in getting Good messages out!
This is not an Award. There is no competition and there is no winner. The goal of this Tribute is simply to acknowledge those champions, highlight clever and creative programs, share best practices and inspire others.”
Hervé de Clerck, ACT Responsible Dream Leader.
Tributes to Champions of Good
This year, in addition to the Tributes to Creativity for Good, and with the support of FCB Worldwide, we are proud to introduce a new annual tradition: ACT Champions of Good, an homage to communicators (Public, NGO, Advertiser, Agency) who have made an impact in the social and environmental areas and helped improve the world through personal contributions and/or creative campaigns.
The inaugural ACT Champions of Good Tribute will be presented to
Tarana Burke, founder of the “me too.” movement,
Marco Lambertini, Director General of WWF International,
Michael Roth, Chairman & CEO of Interpublic,
Marc Pritchard, Chief Brand Officer, Procter & Gamble.
